Eastern School District is pleased to announce that online registration will be available for parents/guardians registering their children for the 2014-15 school year.
Parents MUST register their child online. Any parent who does not have access to the internet is asked to contact their school on May 27 and the school will make arrangements to provide the technology needed for registration.
Registration will begin for both the English and Early French Immersion Kindergarten programs between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on May 29th and May 30th, 2013 via the District website: www.esdnl.ca. Children must be five years of age on or before December 31, 2014 to be registered. At the time of registration, an MCP number must be provided for each child registered. Upon completion of the online form, parents/guardians will be provided a confirmation which will include their registration date and time and which must be brought to the school at a later date, along with the family's proof of address.
Parents/guardians of the Eastern School District are advised that registration for the 2014-2015 Kindergarten Program will take place Wednesday, May 29 and Thursday May 30, 2013 from 9 am to 3 pm. Some Important Notes: -Children must be five years of age on or before December 31, 2014 in order to register. -Parents/guardians will require their child’s MCP number to complete the application. -Proof of address must be provided -More specific details will be provided by Eastern School District as we approach the registration dates.
Parents/guardians must register their child for their zoned school. To confirm the name of your zoned school, please access the Eastern School District website www.esdnl.ca and select Catchment Viewer on the left side of the page and follow the instructions provided. Parents/guardians may also visit the District’s website or contact District Office (758-2372) for information on accessible K-12 facilities.
Upper Gullies has a student council that is a legally constituted body consisting of parents, teachers, and the principal. Our current staff members consist of Ms. White, Mr. Smith, and Ms.Cooper. Our parent/community reps consist of Seamus Power, Juanita Butler, Jolynn Butt, Jerry Scott (Secretary) and Sherry Cole(Chair). The School council meets monthly to discuss issues and make decisions concerning school development matters. We are pleased to advise the minutes of each meeting will be posted on the school website for your viewing.
